baby celine is 9 months old and is such a happy sweet girl! i have been photographing celine since she was inside the womb! celine was such a trooper, letting us do multiple clothing changes, poses, baskets, chairs, and tutus and never once cried or complained!

Dear blog readers, if there are any out there, this is a blog post dedicated to two photographers I admire, respect, and follow. Justin and Mary Marantz have generously decided to give a very special workshop to 20 lucky people of which I would absolutely love to be one of.
I have specialized in newborn baby photography in the studio for the past 6 years (old website: studio139.com) . I am brand new in the world of engagement and wedding photography. I have photographed a whopping total of 4 engagement sessions and I am eagerly waiting to photograph my first wedding (which I have not yet been hired for) none the less, I am excited for that day ;0). For starters, I want to see the dynamics between the two of you during the shootout. I’m curious about which roles each of you take as first shooters, second shooters, and how that affects which positions you take when photographing the model. I want to see the way you communicate with your model. I want to see how you deal with different lighting scenarios. I want to be inspired by you. I want to be encouraged by you. I want to feel empowered by you. I want to learn from you. I know this is a chance in a lifetime and I would be so grateful if I am chosen.

he knew he didn’t have that much time left. the band just finished their last song and started picking up their equipment, so one of his best buds rushed up to the stage and asked the band if they could leave the microphone and speakers on for just a few more minutes. they agreed. the next thing valentina hears as she was washing her hands in the ladies room ” will valentina please come up to the stage”. as she makes her way to the stage she sees her boyfriend already on stage with a microphone! “valentina….you know i love you right?” jonathen says. “of course i do” she says. next thing he knew he was nervous and totally speechless, in front of a room of people just watching and waiting, including valentina. after a few moments (that seemed like an eternity to jonathen) he remembers his purpose for being on stage…”valentina, will you marry me?”
she said yes :0)

a castle in the background, and a princess by his side… what more could a guy want? amanda and andrew were celebrating their first Christmas as a couple at disney world were dreams really do come true! it was getting late and the fireworks show just started. it was soooooooo cold that night that amanda had to wear gloves. as they were walking and talking all of the sudden andrew asks a stranger to take a picture of them in front of the castle. amanda was so cold and tired at this point she really didn’t care if her eyes were closed in the picture, if she was smiling, if the picture was too dark, she just wanted to get into the car, turn the heater on and head back home to her comfy cozy bed. then andrew asks the same person to take yet another picture, now amanda was thinking, really?, do we really need another picture, i just want to go home!!! and then he comes back to amanda and gets down on one knee and takes off her glove….and proposes to amanda. amanda says yes and so begins their very own love story!

Great pictures, love the scenery and the black and whites.
the weather was just right for our photo session over at matheson hammocks. the beautiful trees and all the greenery made for a perfect setting to capture noelle and aerik’s love for each other. as we walked around finding just the right spots, their little dog “faith” who was also dressed just right for the occasion had loads of fun too!
noelle and aerik share a love for all things technology, maybe not mac technology (sorry apple fans!) so that’s why we just had to get a laptop shot!
