jungle island {photography}

our visit to jungle island yesterday was great inspite of the scattered rainstorms.  every time i see such variety in God’s creatures, i am amazed by His creativity and love seeing all the animals He came up with.  i love the turquoise and yellow colors on the bird below.  they are the exact colors of my logo.  maybe i should keep him as a mascot at the studio, what do you think?
loved my little one’s expressions as he saw all these beautiful animals up close. the middle picture is a close up of his morning hair that lasted way into the afternoon 😉pretty neat that the stamp at the entrance was a flamingo. isaiah was upset with me when i tried to scrub it off during his bath.how cool is his pink goat-ee? they were selling baby bottles filled with pink liquid to feed the goats.  looked like kool-aid to me. anybody know what it really is?this white albino alligator was a sight to see. pretty neat, but the eyes…..a little scary.   the kangaroo trying to escape from his keeper. it looks like he or one of his friends scratched her arms and legs up. ouch.

the tigers were aaaaaamazing. i have never been so close to this magnificent creature.  they are so big, beautiful, and strong.   i do wonder what they are thinking,  is it, i wish i could get out of here, or, is it dinner time yet?

it was fun to photograph them.  i’m sure animal photography has its own challenges as does newborn, wedding, and every type of photography.  but it’s always fun to do a different photography as a little change up from the photography that i love so very much: my beautiful brides, wonderful babies, and everyone else in between!

Goldcoast Railroad Museum Review {miami baby photography}

isaiah’s first visit to the goldcoast railroad museum was a success! he enjoyed running through the trains and also enjoyed the train ride.  the train conductor was super informative and let isaiah pull the rope for the train whistle :0)

we will definitely be back! if you are interested in a vintage engagement session at the goldcoast railroad museum…this is the perfect month! let me know asap, as i only have a few spots left for my complimentary engagement sessions for the month of love <3  february 2012. also a great place for a little boy’s birthday photo session!
