keys day

jeff and i spent the day in the keys waiting for isaac’s football game at marathon.  jeff and i visited robbie’s, fed the tarpons, had lunch, and then relaxed over at sombrero beach. we like to joke about our imaginary vacation home in the keys.   it’s an amazing place this imaginary home of ours in the keys 😉 but in the meantime, these days trips are so much fun!!!   this was isaac’s first away game in the keys. it brought back so many memories of when i was in high school.  i remember the excitement of leaving school early and getting on a bus with all my friends and heading down to the keys.  it just gave me so much joy that isaac was able to do the same.  they won their game despite of the rainstorm that lasted most of the game.  perfect end to a perfect day for the sullies <3

jeff feeding the tarpons. i was way too chicken to do this, so i took the pics:)those things are aggressive!this guy got reeeeeaaallllly close to us, hoping for a fish. this guy was just pretty:)or girl, i guess it could be a she too. 😉don’t worry robbie’s, your safe with the sullivans.  you won’t see me carrying a 200 pound tarpon out of there.funny keys knick knackeryjeff and i thought this was pretty. it reminds me of psalm 1:3 “and he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.”this guy right here is amazing. love spending these special days with him.
ummm….another bird
ok, and my last and most favorite picture of the day is all technically wrong.  i saw the moment happening and i couldn’t change my settings on time. so i grabbed what i could and i love it. jeff went over to give isaac some fatherly football-ish advice and it made isaac laugh.  i don’t know why, but it just pulls on this mama’s heartstrings. this wraps up our wonderful keys day.  thanks for stopping by!

xoxo, ~c
